I'd like to thank our fellow
marchers Tommy Dawkins (class of 83), James Copeland
(class of 80), and Ron Barnes
(class of 85) for
sharing their audio events.
James
has emailed the two MP3's he originally posted on the
RSHS Marching Raider Band group on
FaceBook.
Tommy provided me with four audio cassettes that I've converted to
MP3. They may require some more work, but the rough versions
are linked to below.
Ron has emailed MP3s from the 1982 and 1983 MBA competitions
that he originally posted on the
RSHS Marching Raider Band group on
FaceBook.

Richard Miles' audio recording from 1977.
"It was a miserable night, and they finished 4th
(place). I'm pretty sure I was there, and it rained really hard the whole
contest.
My sister says the soloists were
Jerry Davis, Rob Patton,
Phillip Webb, and Donald Lynch."
- Tommy Dawkins' first hand remembrance of this performance.

From the flip side of the cassette labeled Richmond GE 80-81.
Tommy Dawkins taped this (in this case an accurate use of the verb)
off MTV for Joey Davis, but never let him hear it.
Here you go Joey, your long distance dedication through space and
time from your buddy Tommy in 1984.
